“Putting a Freeze on Wear”

In this seminar, we focus on the ways Cryogenics can be used to increase life of the heat-treated ferrous metals and stress relief on non-ferrous and other man made products.

It will give you a quick background on the cryogenic industry and why it’s of value to today’s manufacturing world. The seminar will be given in lay person terms with only two metallurgical terms being used. Those two terms will be fully described and illustrated to give attendees total understanding of the heat treat and cryogenic processes. We’ll cover the importance of post tempering and lay out some guidelines for other materials such as carbide and even plastics, which show significant improvement from the cryogenic process.
