High Speed Access

T-1 and Fractional T-1 Services

Our T-1 services have continued to set the standard in the industry for providing rock solid, reliable connectivity. All of our T's are monitored 24/7 to ensure a consistent, reliable connection.

Available Bandwidth

T's are available from 1-24 channels of data, with each channel being 64k providing up to 1.55Mbps of data.
Included in the above: CIR (committed information rate) and 24/7 toll-free support

Integrated T-1 Services

The Integrated T1 provides customers with 24 channels that can be configured to best suit your businesses needs. With customers requesting both voice and data services this tends to prove to be a low-cost alternative.

Available Bandwidth

Integrated T's are available from 1-24 channels of data, with each channel being 64k providing up to 1.55Mbps of data. In an integrated T-1, the number of channels is split between voice and data, and can be adjusted as needed.
Included in the above: CIR (committed information rate) and 24/7 toll-free support

DSL

Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) is a product designed to provide businesses high speed, cost-effective Internet connectivity over a single copper pair. Depending on the type of network infrastructure and distance from the local telephone central office, available DSL connectivity can range from 144Kb to 2MB both up and downstream.

There are two components to DSL Internet service: the actual DSL line and the Internet connectivity (bandwidth) that is associated with that circuit. WorldPath will manage and monitor the service 24/7. The pricing in this agreement is inclusive of both components. WorldPath also provides the following at no additional charge.

Areas where we currently provide DSL

Dover · Portsmouth · Exeter · Hampton · Manchester · Concord · Laconia · Rye · Seabrook · Newmarket · Salem · Nashua · Lawrence, MA

Available Bandwidth

144K, 272K, 512K, 768K, 1.5M, 2.0M
Included in the above: CIR (committed information rate)
and 24/7 toll-free support

Frame Relay

WorldPath provides fast frame relay connections for internet access to numerous educational institutions, businesses and libraries throughout the state. Frame Relay requires a dedicated circuit from Verizon which goes from your facility to a frame cloud at the switch. The circuit goes into an aggregate and then to WorldPath's routers and out to the Internet through our backbone. This circuit is always on and there are no additional measured charges. The following bandwidths are available: 56K, 128K, 256K, 384K, 512K, 768K, 1024K, and 1.5M

Advantages: A frame relay connection is a very good, stable, intermediate cost alternative for significant bandwidth and access speeds for organizations which do not have ADSL availability in their area and require an "always on" connection. Unlike ISDN, there are no additional measured charges for usage.

Hardware Required: A modem and CSU/DSU are required for utilization of the frame.

Available Bandwidth

56K, 128K, 256K, 384K, 512K, 768K, 1024K, 1.5M
Included in the above: 24/7 toll-free support

ADSL

As a provider of ADSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line), we can provide you with a high speed connection to the Internet. ADSL offers homes and business a dedicated “always on” connection, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Phone line tie-ups and busy signals become non-existent. The ADSL circuit runs from a special ADSL modem at your location to the telco switching station where it then connects to the Internet. The ADSL modem can connect to your LAN (Local Area Network) via a hub or individual computer via Ethernet card.

Advantages: ADSL is a fast, secure, "always on" connection. There is no additional cost for measured usage, no expensive hardware needed, and you get maximum bandwidth for a cost significantly lower than with other circuit types.

Areas where we currently provide ADSL

· Alton (875) · New Durham (859) · Barnstead (776)
· Ctr. Barnstead (269) · Gilmanton Iron Works (364)

Available Bandwidth

ADSL is offered at various bandwidth speeds from 512k to 1MB downstream (to your location) and 512k to 864k upstream (from your location). However, if line quality and telco switching station distance affect the requested line speed, a lower bandwidth may be all that is available.

ADSL 1mb/download 864k/upload, 10 email boxes
ADSL 768k/download 768k/upload, 6 email boxes
ADSL 512k/download 512k/upload, 6 email boxes

and 24/7 toll-free support

Business ADSL Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

ISDN

ISDN provides fast Internet access with minimal upfront expense for those with low bandwidth requirements. ISDN provides two 64K channels (1 data and 1 voice channel) for a total of 128K bandwidth. Verizon charges for per minute usage of the data channel if you use the 128K bandwidth but it is easy to configure the modem to use the voice channel only. This provides a fast 64K connection but without paying additional usage charges. A separate ISDN line from Verizon is required. Bandwidth’s are 64K and 128K.

Advantages: Low cost for both recurring monthly rates and hardware.

Disadvantages: Limited bandwidth capability. Measured per minute charge from Verizon if both channels are used (128K).

Available Bandwidth

64K, 128K
Included in the above: CIR (committed information rate)
and 24/7 toll-free support
