Content Advisor Settings

Steps to take when Content Advisor is activated accidentally.

If you are browsing the Web and this box pops up while using
Internet Explorer, take the following steps.



1. Click on the 'OK'.

NOTE: If the Content Advisor has been enabled by accident,
these steps should disable it. If it has been enabled on purpose go
ask MOM or DAD to let you in.

2. Choose "View" (or "Tools" in newer versions) from the menu commands.



3. Click 'OPTIONS' from the menu that pops up.



4. Click on the 'SECURITY' tab on the next screen.

5. IF it is activated it will give you the option 'Disable Ratings' (as shown).
Click on 'Disable Ratings'



6. The following screen should pop up. Click on 'OK'. (If no password was
ever entered this will work.)



7. The following screen should pop up. Click on 'OK'.



8. The screen should now show 'Enable Ratings as a choice. Just click 'OK'
and you are done.



NOTE: If these steps do not work then a password has been set and the
contact on the account must be the one to call tech support for assistance to
disable that password.
