Our goal at WorldPath Internet Services is to provide customers with a reliable Internet connection and unsurpassed technical support. There may be times when scheduled maintenance or unplanned outages do occur. Information will be provided to our customers here when this happens.



Monadnet/Prexar Email

Prexar USA is performing an email audit by sending emails to accounts that have no billing or associated listing in their records. Receiving an email is an indication that some aspect of your mail service is still being handled by Prexar USA. If you receive one of these emails, please respond, it is not a hoax. Responding that you are a WorldPath customer will help ensure your continued email delivery. Below is an example of the email being sent by Prexar.

Dear Prexar/USA Customer,

Prexar/USA is currently performing an annual email audit. Within our database this email account has no billing or associated listing attached to it.

We are notifying you because we do not want to inadvertently delete any active emails from our system. Please reply to this email or contact us at 1-800-288-5072 if this account should remain active. We will need your name, address, and associated company from which you purchase this service.

If you do not respond within the next 14 days (no later September 8, 2006) than this email address will be removed from our servers. This means that any inbound mail destined for this account will be returned to sender as undeliverable.

Please respond immediately to this email or call us at 1-800-288-5072 to avoid interruption/non-delivery of your e-mail.

This means that your e-mail client settings will need to be changed on or after September 15th to continue to receive your mail.

Going Forward

Since the June 2003 WorldPath purchase of Prexar New Hampshire, WorldPath has allowed former Prexar customers, in cooperation with USA Internet, to keep and use their old Monad.net and Prexar.com email addresses.

Changing to a WorldPath email address is not mandatory and WorldPath's support for Monad.net/Prexar.com email will continue to our best efforts. However if you continue to use your original Monad.net/Prexar.com email address, please realize that your email is being handled by USA Internet in Maine and we, WorldPath, have no ability to administer your account nor can we be responsible for problems or issues at USA Internet. The only way for WorldPath to provide you with reliable e-mail and internet service is for you to use an @worldpath.net email address.
