From the Interim Rector: Father James Davis Saturday, April 13th, will be a real milestone in the life of our parish. Bishop Langberg will consecrate our lovely church building. It was completed nine years ago and the first service was held in it just a few days before Christmas nine years ago. The building was dedicated, but it could not formally be consecrated as long as any indebtedness remained on our building. The very last of over $300,000 was paid back just before the close of 2001. Thus it is, that it is eligible to be consecrated. We anticipate a substantial attendance. First of all, will be our own people. Im sure all those who regard themselves as being part of our parish family will naturally wish to be on hand. Then there will be our neighboring ACA clergy. In a far-flung diocese such as the Diocese of the Northeast, some will not be with us because of sheer distance ( our diocese goes as far north Ellsworth, Maine, as far west as Rochester, New York, as far south as Long Island. Our diocesan clergy will be in the procession. Then, Im sure other interested people will be on hand -- our neighbors, inquirers, friends of the parish, people we individually invite. After all, this service is, as are all our services, open to the public. Yes, there will be a bulletin so they may follow and participate in the service. The service will be followed by a luncheon in Champlin Hall. I understand that the news media have been invited so there should be some coverage there. All this should produce a memorable day. We look forward to it. But -- before that can happen there will be preparations -- well need your help. Sunday, April 7th has been designated as a work day (after the 9:30 Mass, that is ). There are things to be trimmed, dusted, cleaned, tidied up, fixed up and so on. Please come on April 7th prepared to stay for a while and lend a hand. On April 13th the women can use help with the luncheon and with the necessary preparations ( and cleanup, too!). Bishop Langberg will be with us the following day (April 14th) which will be his regular visitation -- we have one to be confirmed and one to be received. Well need a hand there, too! Many hands make for light work! Heres your chance to get acquainted with those people in that nearby pew who you know by sight but not by name! Father Jim
From the Senior Warden: I first came to Trinity in August, 1993, when services were being held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Nutter Boulevard. It was my good fortune to have Father Donald Marsh serving Mass that day. I sat behind Frank and Betty Perry, who immediately introduced themselves to me and made me feel welcome. I learned during that Mass that a new church was under construction, and through the autumn, as I attended services with increasing frequency, I occasionally drove by the site to see this miracle in the making. By Christmas, 1993, I considered myself a member of Trinity Anglican Church, and on Christmas Eve I entered the beautiful edifice others had created through their vision and work and sacrifice, and through the grace of God. Many of the people who built this splendid church are still here, working hard to see that traditional Anglicanism thrives. Others, like Fred Heuss and Frank Perry, have gone to their reward, their job well done. Those who were here from the beginning, or those who, like me, have been members of Trinity for a while, have come to have a sense of what these pioneering traditionalists went through to create the Church we are part of today. As we prepare for the consecration of our beautiful church I would like to thank and to honor all those who built this church, which means so much to me and my family, and to so many others. See you at the Consecration. Michael Faiella
From the Choir Loft Time, once again, to thank all my wonderful "choristers"...whatever the age...you are all wonderful, marvelous, talented, witty, and truly joys to have in the loft! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now, if there is anyone reading this, (who might be feeling a little left out) as luck would have it...there are still some incredibly good seats available in the loft.....I know, such luck is unbelievable! But in our loft...many things are possible! So come join us, and make a joyful noise! :) I am looking (ah, my perpetual search) for any musician with a talent with an instrument {trumpet, flute, clarinet, guitar. I would love to find a harpist[!] violin or whatever.) I'd love to make you part of our "wealth" to pull from with certain pieces of music....so please let me know after service or feel free to call me at home! (207-646-1448) Many thanks, Grace Froncko
Search Committee Report Trinity is looking forward to visits from two candidates for Rector. On Sunday, April 21st, Father Curt Hanners from Lancaster, NH, will be visiting us and saying Mass. On Sunday, May 12th, Deacon Robert Placer, a candidate for ordination, will be assisting Father Davis at both Masses. After the 9:30 Mass the candidates will be available to meet parish members and answer questions. Please put these two important dates on your calendar.
Clean Up Day Sunday, April 7, is dress-down clean-up day. Come help our church building sparkle. Bring your mops, your cleaning rags and sponges, your windex, your vacuum cleaner, and most importantly, bring your teenagers. We need energy! Recite to your kids the lines from Gilbert and Sullivan: When I was a lad I served a term As office boy to an Attorneys firm. I cleaned the windows and I swept the floor, And I polished up the handle of the big front door. I polished up that handle so carefullee That now I am the ruler of the Queens Navee! You never know what will come from a little scrubbing.
St. Anne's Guild News To the ladies of our church, I am writing a very serious letter about the future of St. Anne's Guild. At our March 3rd meeting only three people and I were present. To have a quorum we needed seven women. I went downstairs into the Parish Hall to gather more women with no luck. So our meeting for the month of March was canceled. I have seen our meetings go from having about 20 women a month, to now on an average of 10 women a month. This is becoming more discouraging, for more things are falling on my shoulders. I now have the jobs of President, Treasurer, Advertising, and Chaplain of the Guild and Bookkeeper of the Thrift Shop, plus being on The Parish Life Committee and Search Committee. I cannot seem to get anyone interested in taking on some of the responsibilities of the Guild. I know people are busy with their own lives, I am too. I have a full time job plus the responsibility of an elderly parent in a nursing home that I go and visit basically every weekend in Massachusetts. I am afraid that if we do not get more interest in St. Anne's Guild, we will end up disbanding like the Youth Group. Please don't let this happen as the women of the church hold a very important position here. Won't you join us at our next meeting?
Consecration St. Anne's Guild will be doing the luncheon and there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex of things needed for this very important time in our church's history. Please help us by signing up and coming on that day. Marilyn Tucker, President
Trinity Anglican Church Consecration is Saturday, April 13th at 11AM. Reception afterwards. Please be there. Invite your family and friends. Grant O Lord that by thy holy Word which shall be read and preached in this place, and by thy holy spirit grafting it inwardly in the heart, the hearers thereof may both perceive and know what things they ought to do, and may have power and strength to fulfil the same.

Parish Life Committee The Parish Life Committee will be putting on a potluck dinner/bingo night on Saturday, May 4th. Christian Radio Have you heard our special services and events advertised on the radio? You must have been listening to Combined Voices Radio, PO Box 398, New Durham, NH 03855, WSEW 88.5 FM or WWPC 91.7 FM. Guess what? These announcements are free to our church. The nonprofit stations director, our friend Sharon Malone, says, in response to my asking how we can help the station. Sharon responded: We happily air the announcement on the Community Calendar free of charge, so please keep them coming :) However, the address and name would be Combined Voices Radio, PO Box 398, New Durham, NH 03855, should the church wish to make a contribution to the ministry of Christian radio. In addition, one of the best things the church could do for Christian Radio would be to put the call letters WSEW 88.5 FM and WWPC 91.7 FM in any kind of bulletin or newsletter and get the word out about our presence. As you know, there are some wonderful Bible based teachings and family and personal resources available that would benefit the members of your congregation. Have a blessed week - He Is Risen Indeed !! Sharon Our thanks and Easter blessings to you, too, Sharon, and to your family and to your ministry from all of us here at Trinity.
Fred Heuss Fred Heuss has passed on. Fred was not just a pillar of our church. He was a cornerstone. He helped found the church, he helped build it, and he probably did more than anyone else to make sure the church building and grounds got all the tender loving care that was needed. Fred was taciturn, but if you asked for advice, which I frequently did, he freely gave it, and it was good advice, too. When I volunteered to be Senior Warden he said to me, Its a lot of work, Mike, but you can do it. He was half right, anyway. I miss having his counsel, and the church has lost yet another dear old friend. The weather may have been warm, but its been a long winter. Michael Faiella
Happy 9th Birthday to Daniel Faiella April 30th!
