Northwood's Fourth Annual Edible Book Festival has been canceled for 2010.
The International Edible Book Festival

On the first of April each year cities around the world participate in the International Edible Book Festival.  Festivals are held in many countries including Brazil, Germany, Japan, and Russia.  Entries are displayed in edible form, often using wit such as 20,000 Leeks Under the Sea, Spamlet, Don Quicheote, Booklava, and Frank and Stein.  Edible books may include anything from a scene or character from a book, book covers, or book structures.  As long as the entry is made from food items there is no limit!

2007's Edible Book Festival was chosen by the Boston Globe as a top pick for Things To Do in New England. We were even interviewed on NHPR at the 2008 festival!  Don't miss our 2011 festival!

The Edible book festival for 2010 has been canceled due to a lack of participants.  If you have any questions please call 942-5472.
