Where We Are
Carol grabbed the camera and went picture hunting in Fall 2000.

Here's the pond. We own some land
under it. You're looking from the dam (not ours) north toward our house. The house itself
is screened by the woods high on the hillside to the left.

On a
hill a mile from home Carol captures the Newfound Valley and a tiny
bit of the lake to our west. |

If you skirt Newfound Lake and visit Alexandria, you'll find
an apple orchard where in the fall Cortland and Macintosh apples are crisp
and sweet, and the road home is this beautiful. |
