| Colonial Goldens started out when our family adopted a seven-year-old Golden Retriever, Sassy. Our love affair with Golden Retriever's began with one look into Sassy's big brown eyes. There's something about a wonderful golden that makes you feel complete! | ||||||||||||

| As Sassy got older we searched for another Golden and found Faera's Twin Beauty. She turned out to be such a wonderful, ideal Golden; following the breed standard with a great temperament, balance, movement and such exceptional traits that we decided to breed her. Our dogs come from a long line of breed champions. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America and Yankee Golden Retriever Club. Our breeding females have all passed their OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals), CERF (Eye Clearance) and Heart Clearance. When selecting a stud dog we look for one that would complement the female, has good genetic compatibility, good form, ability and character as well as passing all the necessary health requirements. | ||||||||||||
| Our puppies are well socialized with our two children; making that their number one priority. The puppies all go home with health certificates, AKC pedigree, ancestry and their first set of shots. | ||||||||||||
