Lalmar the Great Tree

 

Lalmar patron deity of the Druids and of nature spirits is an oak tree of untold years. Sages speculate that trees of life, wisdom, and of sages are in fact manifestations of Lalmar's avatars who speak guidance with those who follow nature's path.

Note: The below guidelines are for clerics of Lalmar, Druids should follow the guidelines presented in the Players Handbook

Goals and Purposes: Protection of Nature, Keepers of the balances of law, chaos, good, and evil

Alignment: TN, followers may be Neutral Good, True Neutral, or Neutral Evil (Druids however must be True Neutral)

Ability scores: Wisdom 10 Charisma 12 +10% experience is awarded if both attributes are 16

Races Allowed: Humans, 1/2 Elves, Elves (may also be Druids), and creatures of nature.

Priest Gender: Balanced

Proficiencies: Nonweapon Bonus: Agriculture Suggested: Herbalism

Duties of the Priest: Devotions of nature, Viliance against Nature Defiliment, Marriage, Confession

Rights: No additional rights

Weapon and Armor Restrictions: May not wear Metal Armor, weapons are restricted to those of a Druidic nature.

Other Restrictions: Most followers of Lalmar wear flowers, bracelets of interwrapping twigs, or other other tokens of nature. Yet this is not a requirement.

Spheres of Influence: Major: All, Animal, Astral, Charm, Elemental, Plant, Sun Weather Minor: Divination, Healing, Summoning (Druids should consult the PHB)

Granted Powers: Speak with Plants or Speak with Animals once a day (1 chosen at level 3, the other is gained at level 7)

Followers: 9th Level

Symbol: The holy symbol of Lalmar is Holly Berries or Mistletoe. Leaves or a full oak tree is painted in pigments on tabbards and shields.
