History of Andaria Creation of the World - Available to characters with Ancient History and Religion proficiencies. Though History, Races, and the Religions all speak differently on the creation of the world this theory seems to be the most accurate of them all. Most sages and historians speculate that at the begining their were only six gods: Prynn, Goddess of Fire; Celia , Goddess of Water; Tor, God of Air; Kronos, God of Earth; Aslyn, Goddess of Life; and Mendelth, Force of Death. Each controlled one of the elemental planes or energy planes. As the elemental gods grew in power, their planes also grew in size. Soon their planes grew to the point where they touched each other, forming what are known as the Para-Elemental planes of Smoke, Magma, Ice, and Ooze. Awed by the creation their planes created, the gods experimented with the energy planes to see what their planes would do when they touched them, what formed from that were the Quasi-Elemental planes of Lightning, Radiance, Mineral, Steam, Ash, Salt, Vacuum, and Dust. Amazed by what their planes did when touched, they decided to take the elements of their planes and create something with it. Kor first created a sphere of earth made from the loose materials around his plane, but the pieces started to float away. Celia then took water from her plane and moisted the earth so it would stay, but the earth now was an oozy mud. Prynn then plucked up the fires of her plane and used them to cook the sphere, but her fire outside of her plane would not last long so she only could cook the outside. Tor seeing the problem brought air to the world to feed the fires of Prynn. The fires now fueled by air burned the outside of the sphere and destroyed the beauty of their creation. The earth dried out and became crumbly so Kronos blamed Tor for destroying his earth, and Tor blamed Kronos for making it from loose earth. Celia was angry with Prynn for drying up her water, and Prynn got angry at Celia for overwatering it in the first place. The gods angry that their first creation was destroyed separated from each other for many millenia until Aslynn seeing their anger and discouragement told them that they try once more to create a sphere. She suggested that they create 2 mediators for their disputes and to channel their creative energies. Seeing the wisdom of Aslynn's words, the gods agreed to give it another chance. Together Celia and Kronos created from their essences Lalmar who would represent the sphere, while Prynn and Tor created Sol who would represent the heating sun that would heat and make the sphere stable. Together the 4 gods focused their powers through Lalmar and Sol creating a sphere of moderate moisture while cooking it with enough heat as to not overheat it. When they were done, they were very pleased with the beauty of their creation. They named the sphere Delinira and placed it within the pocket of space between all of their planes, called The Prime, where they could all observe its beauty. Over time however the elemental gods grew bored of their creation just floating in the mists of The Prime, and abandoned Delinira, leaving Sol and Lalmar to fend for themselves. The 2 new gods, dying because their parents had pulled their powers away, decided to create a new sphere which would keep their parents interest. Taking the first failed sphere that the elemental gods created , they opened it up and took the middle from it and created a new sphere from it. Sol and Lalmar named the new sphere Andaria and placed beside it Delinira for the gods to see what they could of had. They then put together the pieces of the first sphere together and named it Lalmar, after the fledgling god, and also placed it by Andaria so the gods would see what happens when they don't work together. They then asked Aslynn to give the planet life and for Mendelth to take that life when it got old so that the sphere always had something new on it. The two energy gods were pleased with the two child gods and agreed to use their powers on this new sphere. The elemental gods noticing this were bewildered by the new sphere for it was strange and unusual. Many plants lived on the sphere under the care of Lalmar, and fed light from Sol. Each of the elemental gods implored Aslynn, Sol, Lalmar, and Mendelth if they could create creatures on the planet as well. The four debated this for quite some time and agreed to allow them to in exchange that each must give their creation free will and create one god to make sure that this rule was obeyed. The gods agreed and a new god called Arcania was created to watch over the sphere as each god created creatures on the sphere. Prynn created the Dragons, creatures with the blood of her fires in their veins. Celia created life in the sea, and called them fish. Kronos created life within the land called Dway. Tor created life in the skys which he called avians. Lalmar created the mammal and populated the forests with them. Sol created the reptile, so there would be a creature to enjoy his light. and Arcania created the Andorians, and populated the plains with them. When this was complete the gods watched over Andaria with renewed interest, because with the passing of the centuries their creations developed and changed with the changing of their world.
