Aslynn's Fall

During the Time of Turmoil, in the period known as The Eradication Wars,
it is said that the armies of The One lead by 2 great warriors, and 
containing dark priests of Dendrack managed to breech the last temple of
Aslynn.  Though speculation and theory, it is said that to kill all the 
followers of a god, would destroy the god as well, which was the goal of
the army that day.

Piercing the physical and magical protections of the temple one by one, 
the army pressed its way into the inner sanctuary of the temple where 
the last 3 high priests of Aslynn prepared for the final onslaught.  
According to the tale, only the 2 great warriors entered the inner 
sanctuary passing through the magical barriers as if they were sheets of
fog.

It was then that the goddess Aslynn appeared in avatar form as her first
follower was slain by the male mercenary.  Using magic unseen in this 
world, she completely froze in time the male mercenary, though the 
female mercenary seemed unaffected.  Aslynn unable to stop the female 
mercenary watched as her last 2 followers were slain... or so the story 
goes.
