Welcome to the High School Scales Page of the Music Department Website. Major scales Marked "L1" represent Level 1 scales that are also required for Central District High School Auditions.

Major and Melodic minor scales Marked "L2" represent Level 2 scales that are also required for Massachusetts All-State High School Auditions.

All High School Wind Ensemble members at The Bromfield School should memorize the L1 scales first.
If High School Wind Ensemble members are accepted to audition for All-State, they should memorize the L2 scales. All Wind Ensemble members are urged to memorize the L2 scales after having memorized the L1 scales.
