Welcome to Our Home!

At Partridge Rock Bed and Breakfast, we strive to uphold the time-honored traditions of bed-and-breakfasting. In the traditional bed and breakfast, guests are accommodated in private bedrooms and breakfast is served for them each morning at the family’s own table. The meal is truly a “home cooked” one, of genuine local cultural flavor. The conversation is meaningful, sincere and personal. Lasting friendships, even spanning across continents, are made. What the traditional B&B may lack in modern amenities (such as en-suite bathrooms or wireless internet access) is regained a thousand fold in the very personal and genuine hospitality provided. Each traditional bed and breakfast has its own personality, but the common thread is friendly hosts who find the work of hospitality a pleasure. Your hosts are Ruth Conley and Juli Hird, a grand-mother and grand-daughter team. We welcome you to our fieldstone farmhouse nestled on the northern slope of Red Hill.

We invite you to:

~ enjoy a hearty all-you-can-eat farmhouse breakfast

~ relax on the screened-in front porch

~ sit among the garden flowers and watch the hummingbirds and butterflies

~ walk, hike, or snowshoe on the woodland trails that span our beloved 150 mountain acres, and are teeming with wildlife. This is a bird watcher’s paradise.

~ take a swim in Squam Lake

~ join us for traditional music and dancing at our community barn dances, held in our beautiful and nearly century-old barn. The barn is also available for private functions.

~ make our home your base while exploring all that our community and region have to offer

~ join us in the common room for afternoon tea and conversation after a busy day out-and-about

~ take a quiet cup of coffee in the guests’ private sitting room

~ sleep peacefully in our casual, cozy New England country bedrooms

Rates and Accommodations

North Room: king size bed, large room can also accommodate a child’s cot and/or infant’s crib. Full walk-in closet and charming window seat. The quilt in this room was created by our local 4H Club! Private 1/2 bathroom and shared full bathroom. $60 per night for individual, $85 nightly per couple, $90 nightly per family.

West Room: Double bed, closet, charming window seat, lovely sunset view. Shared bathroom. $50 per night for individual, $75 nightly per couple.

Soon to come: A family suite with en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms and kitchenette.

The Barn: An excellent venue for Wedding Receptions and similar events.

Payment: by cash or personal check only please. Weekend reservations are available as a two-night minimum.
